Pickup & Nissan light truck freight
Light loads, fast and economical in the city
A solution shaped around your cargo
At Mehr Tarabar, Nissan light trucks and pickups are ready for your lighter loads. They are the most widely used light commercial vehicles in Iran. Whenever your cargo is smaller than a truckload and needs to move quickly, cheaply and without delay, these two are the best choice, from narrow city streets to short intercity routes.
Nissan or pickup: what’s the difference?
| Vehicle | Approx. payload | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup | Up to about 1 t | Small parcels and cartons, light furniture, fast in-city delivery and urgent loads |
| Nissan light truck | Up to about 2 t | Home appliances, small house moves, shop and warehouse goods, light materials, fruit and produce |
If your load is heavier or bulkier than a Nissan can take, a Khavar or a truck is the better option.
Who are Mehr Tarabar’s pickups and Nissans for?
- Families and students: small moves, a fridge, a washing machine, furniture and a few boxes.
- Shops and retailers: restocking, moving goods from the bazaar or warehouse to the store, and daily distribution.
- Online sellers: delivering bulky orders to customers or moving stock between warehouses.
- Contractors and workshops: tools, light materials, tiles, paint, fittings and site equipment.
- Farmers and fruit sellers: taking produce from orchard or field to the wholesale market or customer.
- Companies and offices: moving office furniture, files and equipment over short distances.
Body types
- Open deck: for materials, tools and cargo that isn’t sensitive to rain or sun; faster to load and unload.
- Box (covered): a closed body for appliances, cartons and goods that should stay away from dust, rain and view.
- Refrigerated: for food, dairy, meat and fruit; keeps temperature-sensitive goods fresh on short routes.
Why a Mehr Tarabar pickup or Nissan is a smart choice
- Lower cost: for light loads, a pickup or Nissan costs far less than a truck; you don’t pay for capacity you don’t use.
- City access: they move easily through narrow lanes, old neighbourhoods and streets where trucks are restricted.
- Speed and availability: there are many of them, so they are usually ready to load at short notice.
- Easy loading: the low deck lets you load and unload without special equipment.
When they’re not the right fit
- When the load weighs more than 2 t, or is too long or bulky for the deck.
- On very long interprovincial routes with a lot of cargo; a Khavar or truck is cheaper per tonne.
- For very sensitive or valuable cargo that needs special packing or equipment, arrange the details in advance.
What affects the price?
- Distance between origin and destination, and whether the route is in-city or intercity
- Vehicle (pickup or Nissan) and body type (open, box, refrigerated)
- Weight and volume of the load, and whether you need loaders
- Floor level, lift access and waiting time at origin or destination
Before you book
- Prepare a list and rough weight and size of your items so we can suggest the right vehicle.
- Pack fragile items in strong cartons, blankets or bubble wrap.
- If you need loaders, mention it when you request a quote from Mehr Tarabar.
- For temperature-sensitive cargo, choose a refrigerated pickup or Nissan.
Capacities are approximate and depend on the vehicle model and body type. In the quote form, choose “Pickup” as the fleet type and the right body (Nissan or pickup; open, box or refrigerated), and the Mehr Tarabar team will suggest the best option.
With Mehr Tarabar, your light loads are handled with the same care and commitment as heavy ones: get the right pickup or Nissan quickly, at a transparent price.
