The Mehr Tarabar fleet: which vehicle suits your cargo?
| Vehicle | Approx. payload | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup | Up to about 1 t | Light parcels and cartons, small furniture moves, fast in-city and short-distance delivery |
| Nissan light truck | Up to about 2 t | Home appliances, cartons and packaged goods, fruit and produce, light building materials |
| Khavar (light truck) | About 2–5 t | Medium and bulkier loads, distribution between nearby cities, workshop and commercial goods |
| Two-axle truck | About 8–10 t | General intercity cargo, building materials, factory goods in medium volumes |
| Three-axle truck | About 12–15 t | Heavier loads on long routes, steel and construction materials, industrial goods |
| Semi-trailer | About 22–25 t | Very heavy or high-volume loads, full truckloads between provinces and to ports and borders |
Body types and what each is for
- Open deck: for cargo that isn’t sensitive to rain or sun, such as building materials, steel and packed bulk goods. Easy to load and unload from the top and sides.
- Box (covered): a closed body for goods sensitive to moisture, dust or theft, such as appliances, cartons, consumer goods and furniture.
- Side-opening: a body that opens from the side so forklifts can load from the flank; ideal for pallets and factory goods.
- Curtain-sider: a tarpaulin-covered body that protects cargo from rain while staying flexible for side and top loading. One of the most popular choices for general intercity freight.
- Flatbed: a flat deck with no walls for heavy machinery, industrial equipment, steel structures and long or unpackaged loads.
- Tipper: a hydraulic dump body for bulk materials such as gravel, sand, soil, stone and debris.
- Refrigerated: an insulated body with a cooling unit for temperature-sensitive goods such as food, dairy, meat, fruit and medicine.
Light load or heavy? A quick Mehr Tarabar selection guide
- Under 1 t: pickup, the most economical option for small loads.
- 1–2 t: Nissan light truck, nimble in the city and cost-effective on short routes.
- 2–5 t: Khavar, a good balance of capacity and cost.
- 5–10 t: two-axle truck, suited to general intercity cargo.
- 10–15 t: three-axle truck, for heavy loads on long routes.
- Over 15 t or a full load: semi-trailer, the lowest cost per tonne on long distances.
Remember that volume sometimes matters more than weight. A light but bulky load (furniture, polystyrene or empty cartons) may need a larger vehicle even though it weighs little.
Before loading
- Give us the weight and dimensions of your cargo as accurately as possible so we can suggest the right vehicle and a fair price.
- Prepare fragile or sensitive items with proper packaging: pallets, strong cartons and cushioning.
- For temperature-sensitive goods, tell us the required temperature range in advance.
- Don’t forget cargo insurance and the waybill; the Mehr Tarabar team helps you with both.
- Overloading beyond legal road limits is both dangerous and fined. Choose the vehicle based on the real weight of your load.
Capacities are approximate and depend on the vehicle model, number of axles, body type and the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization’s weight limits. For an exact recommendation, enter your cargo details in the quote form and the Mehr Tarabar team will suggest the most suitable vehicle.
With Mehr Tarabar, it doesn’t matter if your load is a single carton or a full semi-trailer: leave the right vehicle, transparent pricing and follow-up until delivery to us.
