Khavar light truck freight
Medium loads, moves and distribution in one trip
A solution shaped around your cargo
At Mehr Tarabar, the Khavar is the middle link of our fleet: for loads too big for a Nissan and too small for a truck. The Khavar is a light truck that has been used in Iran for years to move medium loads, house removals and distribution between nearby cities.
How much can a Mehr Tarabar Khavar carry?
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Approx. payload | About 2–5 t, depending on model and body type |
| Place in the fleet | Larger than a Nissan (up to about 2 t), smaller than a two-axle truck (about 8–10 t) |
| Suitable routes | In-city with large loads, and intercity over short and medium distances |
If your load is more than a Nissan can take but won’t fill a truck, a Khavar is usually the most economical choice.
Who is the Khavar for?
- House moves: small to medium homes whose contents don’t fit in a Nissan: fridge, sofas, rugs, beds and boxes in one trip.
- Office moves: desks, chairs, cabinets, files and office equipment.
- Shops and distributors: bulk restocking, moving goods between branches and distribution to nearby towns.
- Workshops and manufacturers: raw materials and finished goods in medium volumes.
- Building contractors: materials, tiles and ceramics, fittings, doors, windows and tools.
- Farmers and produce wholesalers: from orchard or cold store to the wholesale market and nearby cities.
Khavar body types at Mehr Tarabar
- Open Khavar: for building materials, tools and cargo not sensitive to rain or sun; quick loading from top and sides.
- Box Khavar: a closed body for removals, appliances, cartons and retail goods, protected from rain, dust and view.
- Side-opening Khavar: opens from the side, making it easy to load pallets and heavy goods by forklift or from a warehouse dock.
- Refrigerated Khavar: for food, dairy, meat, fruit and medicine; holds the required temperature on in-city and short intercity routes.
Why choose a Mehr Tarabar Khavar?
- Balance of cost and capacity: carries several times more than a Nissan at a lower rate than a truck.
- City manoeuvrability: moves more easily than a truck through city streets and into warehouses and shopping centres.
- One trip instead of several: a load that needs two or three Nissan runs fits in one Khavar.
- Range of bodies: from open to refrigerated, there’s an option for almost any medium load.
When the Khavar isn’t the right fit
- Loads under about one tonne; a Nissan or pickup is more economical.
- Loads above its capacity, or very long interprovincial routes; a two-axle, three-axle truck or semi-trailer is cheaper per tonne.
- Very long items, such as steel beams and long pipes, that don’t fit the Khavar’s deck.
Before you book a Khavar
- Prepare a list of items or the approximate volume and weight so Mehr Tarabar can confirm a Khavar is enough.
- For removals, tell us the floor, lift access and parking distance from the building entrance.
- If you need loaders for loading and unloading, mention it when requesting a quote.
- Pack fragile items in strong cartons, blankets or bubble wrap.
Capacities are approximate and depend on the vehicle model and body type. In the quote form, choose “Khavar” as the fleet type and the right body, and the Mehr Tarabar team will suggest the best option.
With Mehr Tarabar Khavars, your medium load moves in one trip, at a transparent price, with follow-up until delivery.
